Abstract Thursday: Weather

Ingeborg would like us to represent "weather" in today's AT blips.

After all the sunny weather we've had, our water butt in the garden is almost empty as we've need to water some of the plants frequently.  So I photographed it with the lid off, showing the small amount of water in the bottom. I then subjected it to some Photoshop fartnarkling. I thought the twirl effect looked rather like water flowing - and we could do with some now!

So it represents the aftermath of the hot weather - but the blue colour of the inside of the butt produces rather a cold feel to it, which is appropriate to the much colder, dull weather we're having today.

(Actually, here in the northeast it's not really been all that hot - just very pleasant - but it's still been dry enough that we needed to water the garden.)
