Heriot-Watt University to Morningside
Today we did another of our 'bus route' walks. Jumped on a number 35 bus and went to it's terminus at Heriot-Watt University and then walked all the way home which was 7.4 miles.
Most of the walk was along the 'Waters of Leith' and as there weren't many cyclists about, I was off lead for pretty much all of the way. Yay!
I did lots of splashing about in the river but it wasn't really deep enough for me to swim today. And then I jumped up on to this wall which was on a bridge over the river. Ann took a photo of me went mad at me and told me to get down because she didn't want me falling off the wall into the river.
Oh and guess who I met on my walk?........................ I met 'big boy Bruno', the black lab. He was the very first dog that I had a play date with when I was a teeny, weeny, little puppy and I haven't seen him for ages. It was lovely to see him again.
This afternoon I had snooze time while Ann went out to do a 'Meet & Greet' and then she took me for another little walk but I was still sleepy so I went straight back into my bed afterwards.
It's starting to feel very autumnal in Edinburgh. It felt cold on my 'first thing in the morning walk' and Ann's just closed all our windows (which we've had open since the beginning of June.) The nights are also drawing in.
