Flamingo Flower

I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my daughter on Sunday for Mother's day.

It was such a nice surprise to find them in a vase on the dining table, when I arrived back from my weekend in Germany with the girls, and the smell was amazing.

For those of you who don't know, my daughter lives in England and she'd arranged with my husband to get the flowers for me :-)

I took some photos this morning and was trying out the macro setting again. Of all the shots, I liked this one of the Anthurium otherwise known as the 'Flamingo Flower' best - it's just a little different to the usual flower shots, and it's 'probe' makes me laugh!
