Oh Baby!

We had a nice lazy morning, the girls were happily watching their iPads in bed which meant we didn't have to rush.   

It’s been another lovely, sunny day, and I took the girls to the RSPB nature reserve in Conwy where they were keen to see the wild ponies.  We weren't sure where they were, but we spotted lots of horse poo, so we followed the trail of poo and finally found them.  We stood and watched them and the girls were very good and remained quiet and still so as not to frighten the ponies.  This little foal looked quite curious and started to walk towards the girls - Scarlett was a little nervous at first and moved back, but the foal continued to come closer, it was such a lovely moment.

Rach came to pick the girls up this afternoon and stayed for a couple of hours while the girls played in the paddling pool, and then she gave them a shower before heading home.  Neither of them wanted to go, but they'll be back in a few weeks during the school holidays.
