Blue Gecko

We've got the Scarlett & Violet with us this weekend, I drove up and picked them up from school yesterday, so today we took them to the Zoo.  It's great having the family membership and as it's only 3 miles from home, it's a very easy day out.

We got there quite early before it go too busy and I'd taken a picnic so we were there until about 2pm.  We saw most of the animals although the snow leopards were elusive today, think it was too hot for them!  My blip today is of the Blue Geko in the reptile house - difficult for photography due to the heat and my lens steaming up, but also taking shots through glass, but I used my rubber lens hood.

Back home for an afternoon in the garden and a relatively early night, as last night Clare, Mike and Lara came round and the girls didn't go to sleep until about 11pm!
