Happy birthday

Today was my friend Susan’s birthday and we went out for a late lunch to celebrate. There were 7 of us including the 2 children of mutual fruends. They were very excited to see Susan eat her birthday cupcake!

The weather was warm but cloudy so it was very pleasant. Back to S’s house after lunch for a few wee glasses of Prosecco and I’m finally gone after 10. Mr PHL has apparently had a trying day with the puppy so I’ll need to do more of the dog duties in the morning!
