Eating outside? In Scotland?

Took a while for the grey skies to burn off, but when they did it was to leave a beautiful day.

Rushed around in the morning cleaning, hoovering, changing beds, doing several loads of washing and clearing out the fridge before stopping for leftover cold pizza for lunch.

Took Miss PHL into her friends house as there was a plan to head to Glasgow for a BBQ at another friends farm before picking up the shopping.

Home to tackle the ironing before prepping dinner - roasted baby potatoes, roast peppers and courgette, asparagus and baked salmon with pesto and breadcrumb crust.

Young Mr PHL and his girlfriend are here overnight and it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy dinner with a glass of Pinot. Whilst they’ve headed to the ice cream shop, I stated behind with Phin to catch up on blip.

The other good news today was receiving full payment (minutes the excess) from the insurance company for the puppy’s operation costs.
