Muker
Just back from 8 nights' camping near Muker, at the western end of Swaledale. And what a week! More by luck than judgement we managed to book a fabulous campsite in a lovely spot, and the weather was amazingly hot and sunny. There will be backblips...
This is our last view of Muker from the campsite, taken just before we left - you can see when on the church clock if you view in large. The village looks a little like a walled citadel from this angle, surrounded as it is by dry stone walls.
Back home by a very scenic route, through Northallerton, Brompton, and Stokesley.
