At last...

... blooms on our everlasting sweet pea plant. There are lots of buds too, so the promise of more.

We’re sad this evening. Another disappointed young lady who has been told all her Year 6 fun activities are cancelled because so sadly there was a positive Covid test for one of her peers. Our beautiful granddaughter surely can’t be nearly eleven already and this evening we had FaceTime with her and sensed her disappointment but saw her wonderful nature, feeling for the pupil who is unwell. Yesterday there were tears though. The whole year group are in isolation until next Monday. Term ends on Friday.

Our disappointment is that we can’t visit tomorrow as had been planned. Sophia is waiting for the results of a PCR test and so Matthew has said best not to go. We have been sent fantastic photos and video of Sophia’s early birthday party last Saturday. A nice gift after this evening’s news.

The rain came as forecast! Torrential but short lived making the temperatures drop, very slightly.
