We met Katie this afternoon. A three year old tortoise and belonging to the son of friends who are looking after here at the moment. Very precious she is too apparently. Katie should be Kenneth, but you can’t tell with a baby tortoise. Our nephew had a tortoise who roamed free as usual when we visited one Christmas. Very unnerving. We went to our friends’ for a Freedom Day tea. Just four of us because the other two guests are isolating.

I did go for a run this morning before it got too hot. I combined it with a walk because there was so much to enjoy and appreciate out there. The gardens are looking really colourful.
