Sally Mair - Loving life

Dinner for three

This is the tray which Kathryn gave me for my birthday. I christened it this evening when a friend came round for dinner in the garden. I have to confess I cheated though and we had a take away Indian meal. It was a close thing though as the two Indian restaurants in the block by our house were both closed! We ended up travelling half a mile to Davidson's Mains. Not too far really.
It was lovely sitting in the garden till almost 10pm in the warm evening sunshine.
It's been another very warm day today. We went over to Dunfermline where, in the hope that the otter has given up on our empty pond, I bought some replacement fish. We then drove back across the Forth and continued into town to return some items to Mountain Warehouse.
Ali came round just after lunch and we sat in the garden with ice lollies. My frog came out and posed for her.
Sarah came round at about 7pm and we had a very pleasant evening.
The first day of being in level zero although, here in Scotland, thank goodness that doesn't mean completely throwing caution to the winds. Keep safe folks.
