What are you doing in our house?

I was inside the henhouse, cleaning up the chicken poo when they all came to the door to see what I was doing!
Earlier Carmen came round for a lesson in tortoise management, and chicken wrangling as she’s in charge of the menagerie and also picking courgettes tomatoes, beans and rhubarb whilst we’re away.
The roofer came round to be paid, Elvis was walked and went to stay with his mate Archie, shutters were shut, doors were locked, the car was packed, and still I don’t know which shoes to take!
We’re just about ready to go, and have set the alarm for 5am tomorrow morning. The plan is to leap out of bed and be on the road by 0530!
