There are major roadworks going on all around the cafe so I had to walk further than usual to get there. One of my feet is a bit sore just now so I was walking very slowly...and it's amazing what little details I noticed on the way which I probably miss when I'm striding out at my usual pace! Similar to what you see from a bicycle compared to a car.

Anyway, I was quite taken by this ashtray on somebody's front step. I imagined them having a quiet smoke and watching the world go by. And can you see a man's face in the ashtray? I'm sure I could..

Going to have tea now and then put my feet up. No walk today :-(
