Hellenia

I've been busy doing other things today and neglected my blip photography. I did have some photos of Sarah, taken down by the river when I was trying out some settings on my new phone, but neither of us liked them enough to share. So, out into the garden and here is a celebration of the Hellenia, which has just come into bloom. I bought this plant a couple of years ago on my birthday, and it is thriving (like me haha).

Hurrying a bit, as they are waiting for me to watch a film. It's the third Bette Davis one we have seen this week - first it was "Of Human Bondage" (1934) and then "The Virgin Queen" (1955). Tonight it's "Hell's House" (1932 - the same year that my Dad was born!).

The Openreach engineer visited this afternoon and we have full fibre internet..I wonder what Bette would have made of that?
