PIne woods

Today we drove to the East side of the country, up to Golspie where we went for a walk at Loch Fleet Nature reserve, first along the dunes and then through the pinewoods. A hazy day which cleared and it was very warm. Lovely peaceful walks with a few quiet people around. I loved the trunks of the pine trees and in extra I have put KK and hubby in the shot for scale.
We then headed into Dornoch for a wander and an ice cream, all very good.
To finish the day we sat outside for dinner in Strathpeffer at the Deli in the square. Sitting outside to eat always makes me feel like I am on holiday.
