Senses on Alert

Sunny and muggy all day. Up early and out the door to feed the vampire, aka have a blood draw. Stopped at my home and was delighted to see the gardenia is in bloom. Gosh, it makes the garden so fragrant. I have had the bush for years but a hard winter almost killed it. It is finally blooming again. Went back to my daughter’s to be with the pets until time for my second trip to the same medical center. This time they did a scan for calcium build up in the coronary branches. It is just to get a baseline, we think I am fine. Hubby stopped by with bananas and Gatorade and took a much needed nap after his busy day with his to do list. I only like the cherry flavor and they rarely have it. My daughter’s family has decided to return on Friday so at least I know when I will be going home. Two more days - maybe I will actually get some Kindle time. “Love is like a beautiful flower which I may not touch, but whose fragrance makes the garden a place of delight just the same.” – Helen Keller. Thanks for the visit. Enjoy nature!
