Lindau lighthouse

The island of Lindau is on Lake Constance and accessed by a bridge. We wandered around here this morning, a stopping point on the border before heading back into Switzerland. See extras too. It was a lovely town with some impressive buildings but also the most touristy place on our trip by a long way.

We had a leisurely start, with a bakery breakfast, and tonight we are in Bern. We found a spot for campervans in the middle if the city next to the river. It was only 3 mins walk from a beer garden that we’d been to last summer when we’d taken a boat from Thun to Bern. We were soon reminded that we were back in Switzerland when we bought two glasses of wine! Not cheap!
