Bern parliament building

This morning we wandered around Bern old town (see extras) sheltering from a huge storm at one point. The river was extremely high and fast moving.

We arrived home this afternoon just in time for another huge storm. The garden furniture had been blown over. I think we’ve missed some bad weather whilst we’ve been away.

Very disappointed with the UK announcement that only UK residents and those who have had a NHS vaccination can travel there without quarantine. It appears our European vaccine passport doesn’t count. There are a lot of ex-pats like us waiting to visit family but I guess we will just have to wait longer.
