Not A Butterfly

While Mr Flum was trying on replacement wellies, (having discovered on Sunday's stormy-weather walk that his were leaking), I wandered round the plant area, trying to catch a photo of a tortoiseshell butterfly.
It refused to settle, but I did find a few bumblebees feeding on the French lavender, including this Carder bee..
