It's Broken!

Not such a happy birthday after all. Tom had a bit of an accident last night. You can see the break quite clearly. There was a bit of a debate as to whether it needed an op or not but they decided to just plaster it in the end...thank goodness.
He didn't go to hospital straight away, in fact he even drove to work this morning. By this afternoon it was so painful and very swollen that his brother dropped him at the hospital. I couldn't as I was working. I did shoot straight to A&E from work though and got there just after he had had his X-ray done.
Poor boy is in a lot of pain. We are back to fracture clinic on Wednesday. Hope everything's ok.
