Colchester Half Marathon

I hope you had the most enjoyable day yesterday and it was lovely speaking to you in the morning. I loved the way your room was made up for you!

Today I have been to the Colchester half marathon as a supporter.....well I could never manage anything like that, although when I see everyone running I do feel like I'd like to give it a go....but I know my limitations as far as running goes.

I was there supporting dad, Nick, Louie and Carley. They were amazing. Nick ran with Louie as it was Louis first half marathon and Nick stuck with him and encouraged him all the way around.

Dad ran with Carley as it was her first half marathon too. They have been training together and dad said they will finish together on the line....and they did.

I was so impressed with them all. I know they were all delighted. They couldn't stop talking about it and have been on cloud nine since.

Eleven of us went to the Nirvana to celebrate their success. The food as you know was wonderful. I'm trying to be good at the moment and chose very carefully what to eat.

Home to a house full watching the Arsenal Tottenham game....all supporting Arsenal. You should have heard the noise when the goal went in.

I think the runners have started to feel the efforts of their run today as the legs have started to get a bit achy....I think I'm in for a quiet night!
