Day 457 Clematis

The rain finally stopped by mid afternoon and by the evening the sky had cleared considerably with even a little weak sunshine .  Mr MC and I paid another visit to the kitchen unit company to choose worktops and handles  so hopefully we've ordered everything now and the work will be finished in the near future.
It wasn't nice enough for me to want to venture into the garden and sit so I took a picture of these clematis flowers with a zoom lens, standing just outside the back door.  The background of the rowan tree makes everything look very lush I think and so it should after all the rain that we've had!
