Day 456 Nature Study

It has rained for quite a lot of the day, especially disappointing as it is the Summer Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere.  It is also supposed to be the day that we were sprung from the last of the Pandemic restrictions but that of course hasn't happened, this being postponed until 19 July.
Violet loves to be outside in the garden and after school, as soon as the rain had stopped, out she went, wearing a cosy unicorn onesie as it was far from warm.  She is examining a either a snail or a slug, both of which there were a multitude after so much rain.  She is rather fond of mini beasts, a trait to be encouraged I feel.
