The Longest Day

The summer solstice dawned cloudy here but brightened up from midday. We made good use of the summer light to progress some significant projects this morning. We walked on the midsummer promenade in the afternoon. There was a holiday feeling in the air. The schools break up here for the summer this week. I had a voluntary shift in town this evening. It was a lovely late light journey home.
