Frazzling Father's Day

Despite really lovely elements to the day, it's been a challenge thanks to Nate!! The good bits were; the kids giving Danny his gift and card and going to have breakfast on the rocky beach near us. Asha also created an ice cream toppings bar (extra) which was fun! The less good bits were Nate kicking off for no obvious reason, at relatively regular points throughout the day. Thankfully he's currently sleeping peacefully.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny being a great Dad to Asha and Nate...and me having my own brilliant Dad.
2) A really lovely hour at the rocks with coffee and pastries.
3) Asha's enthusiasm writing a list of things we can do this summer - 3 months with them at home starts on Tuesday afternoon - eeeeeeek!
