Joe 90

Woke up just before my alarm, after an ok ish night, just moved the clock slightly p, so glad I did, what I thought was 8.20 was actually 6.20! To think I almost got up lol;-)

Did get back to sleep for an hour or so, but was awake before the actual alarm, as I had a decorator calling to price up our bedroom, & the hall staurs and landing. It is someone we know, we ended up chatting about hub, and Haworth funnily enough......they were with me for almost an hour & a half! I had thought about walking into town, but was too short on time, by the time I was ready go leave.

Instead stopped to pick up a coffee then drove over to my sis's for 1.30. She was doing some one-handed ironing when I got there lol. We popped out for an hour or so as we voth wanted a couple of bags of compost from the garden centre......we had a brew and shared a blueberry muffin to tide us over until teatime.

Sis had made marinated lamp chops, with mushroom masala and homemade garlic chapati type breads.....really delish, really spicy and really garlicky....hub would not have approved if I'd come home reeking of garlic <3

We sat outside in the sun before we had tea, listening to an old Tom Jones cd, which sis was singing along to whislt she was in the kitchen, me and BiL were laughing our heads off at her, shes no Shirley Bassey lol! She had Kobi doing various tricks and training as we sat, he is bored not being able to exercise off lead, full of beans as they say, but will still do as he is told, as you can see here, modelling his mums glasses ;-)

Had a small glass of wine as we caught the last of the sunshine, before I drove home. Back by 8.30, unloaded my bags of compost, good job im a strong ol girl lol.....watered the baskets, made myself a cuppa and sat down to watch the second half of the football, yet another disappointing game!!

Supposed to be cooler tonight...we shall see, still no rain for us this far north, the grass has two very pale straw like stripes, thats always a give away as to how dry its been!! Rain is forecast from next Wed. onwards.....we do need it I guess.

Daughter is calling round tomorrow to see her Dad, whilst Im out at middle son & DiLs, thats what she would normally do on Fathers Day, so no reason to change what she has always done, he's still here <3
