Reigned on Royalty

This is one of 3 Princess Diana clematis that grow through two climbing roses around our arbour. They have all taken a battering over the last few days with the heavy rain and wind, but luckily they are tough little blooms!

Another good nights sleep....another day when the rain has barely stopped! Just long enough to pop out for a newspaper this morning and for me to find my blip later this afternoon.

Lunch was smashed avocado with chilli flakes on brown toast with an egg,on top...tasty but the avo wasnt quite ripe enough...should have waited :-/

Dinner was Jamie Oliver chicken tray bake, cannellini beans, cherry tomatoes, halved new potatoes, chicken thighs, all tossed in a mixture of light olive oil, paprika, thyme, parsley & oregano, roasted for around an hour, & hey presto, served over some wilted spinach, with sugarsnap peas.

Hub is currently watching his team on tv, 20 mins to go, 2-0 up so,looking good. This will be followed by my team.....hope they put,in as decent a performance as Saints, fingers crossed!

Weather supposed to improve to orrow, really hope so, not been for a run, again, need to get out tomorrow! Dismal step count agsin today!
