Pristine peonies

Another late night followed by a late morning!
Woke a few times of course in between.

Put the washer on, finally had enough to warrant putting it on lol.....put the whirly bird up in the garden ready to peg it out. Swept up the blasted rose petals....breezy morning, blowing them all over, in the pond, so fished them out! Was speaking to hub as I pottered.

Daughter came to pick me up as we were going oit for lunch together......she came around the back just after Id finished pegging the laundry out and was waterig the front garden.....she wanted to see Dads lava stone, i think she approved.

We had a lovely lunch, shared 4 starters and had a rhubarb gin fizz too, which tasted just like the rhubarb & custard sweets, without the custard obviously lol :-) We chatted about all sorts and a couple of hours soon flew by.

After she dropped me back at home & we said our goodbyes, came indoors.....a sadness washed over me, found myself upstairs looking at ohotos on hubs phone and camera for a while......watched the videos he had recorded at the Muse concert he took me to for my 60th.....made me cry. Took myself off into the garden to be near him, felt better, then brought the laundry in, folded it all, put the whirly bird away, fed the hanging baskets and tubs, which are flourishing. Took some photos of various flowers. Todays blip is our white peonies, which are just beautiful this year! Perfect for flower Friday :-)

Decided to iron the clothes that were already in the ironing pile, plus what I had just folded......it was gone 6 by the time I had finished and put it all away. Then I hoovered all upstairs and did the stairs too, before making my dinner, which was a portion of homemade lasagne that Id defrosted, with a big side salad.... before settling down with a G&T to watch the match!! What a disappointment that was !!

I need to get to bed a bit earlier tonight, so will be calling it day shortly, hope you all have a lovely weekend.
