It’s only a game

It was a bright sunny day in Scotland while it rained heavily in England.
Excitement mounted throughout the day. Our flags and bunting were put up in support of Scotland. A video link was established with our Gloucestershire grandchildren. They were very optimistic about an easy English victory!
In the end an exciting 0-0 draw felt like a victory to the Scots and a “defeat” to the English?! England will still go through to the knock out stage but Scotland is still travelling hopefully.
