Wet Summer’s Day

A very wet day. Everything outside is saturated. Wet dog walks have happened and our dripping waterproofs and soggy boots are draped around the house. Andy has ventured out on flooded roads to pick up a new golf club, my watch which as being mended and Merlin’s liver support tablets from the vets. We are now in the warm and dry and most grateful for it. I’m ordering a new waterproof jacket and trousers as my current ones are leaky and torn - more fit for allotment work than very wet weather.

Despite the rain, the summer flowers still look beautiful.
