Not a fig leaf

Well might she protect her eyes from the strong afternoon sun but the iris fig leaf is redundant as she does seem to be wearing some sort of clothing! I spent some time in the garden but a lot more time on the computer. Travel back to France is proving difficult as Ryanair cancelled our flight for the second time. Thye bumped us onto a flight that leaves very early in the morning and, given that a friend has offered to put us up, look after the car and take us to the airport, I did not want to ask him to get up at 4am. I therefore booked a flight three days later and set about rearranging all the tests and other arrangements that are contingent on the flight time. I took my bike out for a ride to the farm shop to buy a present for our friend we are visiting and made a house call to make an adjustment to a clock.
