Not all Norfolk is flat!

Another hot sunny day.
After walking along the prom. at Sheringham, we walked up to the top of Beeston Bump.
207 feet high. Lovely view over the town, along the coast, and out to sea.
During the Second World War there was a Y Station at the top. Part of a series of stations around the English coast that worked to intercept radio signals from German E- boats.
The wild flowers at either side of the path were absolutely beautiful, so had to include them in my Blip.

On to Cley, and a walk along the coastal path.
I do wish people would use the free village car park and not park on the roadside.
They now have a super new loo, very aptly called “ Curloo”! They just ask for a £1 donation. Certainly worth it as the carpark in Sheringham cost us £6 for a few hours.

Tea and cake was taken at Bayfield Wildflower Centre.
Then back to change and out for our evening meal at the Three Horseshoes, Briston.
Has been given a good makeover since we were there last. Beautiful garden and outside seating. The food was good too.
