Waiting and hoping .....

...... that mummy blackbird will arrive with something tasty for her rather large youngster who, at the moment, lives in the hedge behind my rhododendron. I'm sure it must be too large now for the family nest.

New garden hose bought this morning so no excuses now for not watering the garden and with no rain forecast for the next ten days or so it will be up to me to quench the thirst of my plants.
