Flag Iris

Glad I had my walk with the dogs this morning while the weather was fairly benign.

This afternoon it has been all change as the rain has arrived .... not continuous but spasmodic very heavy downpours. The hose can stay put tonight.

There are plenty of flag irises growing among the vegetation at the sides of both ponds in Queens Park .... you just have to be careful where you put your feet so as not to end up standing on very marshy, boggy ground.
