Morning ablution

A lazy walk to Glanderston Reservoir, usually the quietest of the Barrhead reservoirs. Not today. Minutes after we arrived, with no other cars in the small layby, two coaches pulled up and two classes of older primary children poured out to climb up to The Craigie.
This was a great excuse for us to spend the morning in a sheltered spot beside the water with the paper (for R), a camera, and a flask of coffee.
When I got home and downloaded the photos I noticed that the pair of swans who were on the other side of reservoir were chivvying along at least three cygnets.
As ever the water looked so tempting. I suspect there will have been verbal scuffles between outdoor swimmers and fishers, whereas in Balgray they are tolerated.
