WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Homing...

...pigeons on the M74 as we ourselves were homing!
There was a lot of traffic on the roads but luckily it kept flowing and it took
3 1/4 hours to get home.
The end to a lovely few days. Amelia and Lucy were back to school this morning and went happily in their yellow check summer uniform dresses with pony tails swinging and bobbing.

After some lunch and a sit down I got stuck in to the garden. Planting and potting on. Sabrina had given me a courgette plant and 3 cucumber seedlings. I mean to take 2 tomato plants, a cucumber, a pepper, a chilli and some lettuce plants on the boat when we go away. I have to convince Frank to let me put them on the roof. He doesn’t like the marks it inevitably makes on the roof but I will take every precaution!

Some of the lower leaves on the tomato plants are yellowing a bit. I think it may be magnesium deficiency, which strangely can be made worse by feeding plants which I did maybe overdo before we went away. I took those leaves off and watered the plants with plain water to see if it improves them.

Early to bed tonight I think.
Thanks for all the good wishes for Sabrina’s 40th. She really appreciated them.
Goodnight :-)X
