The west side of the River Ness

I think the buildings on that side are more interesting, although the west side of the town is still the rude partner to the other side which has most of the history. It's not as extreme as crossing the Guadalquivir in Seville, which leads you into a different world, dominated by artisan tile making. I've enjoyed living west of the river, and of course we have our own river anyway, the Caledonian Canal.
