Cerinthe

The cerinthe seems to be flowering earlier than usual this year. It is in a way an emergency blip. This morning I said I was going to either go to the car boot sale at the showfield or walk to the garden centre for a coffee. I wasn't sure that there was a car boot sale this morning. I don't really know why I wanted to go as it is really a load of old tat! However I did manage to find a small glass vase which I might use in a still life at sometime.

By the time we had walked around I suggested that we still walked to the garden centre for a coffee as we had time. As we were walking I said that I wanted to get a blip from the car park as I had seen a good photo of Roseberry Topping with oilseed rape fields in front of it. We had our coffee and a look around the plants and then decided to have our lunch there. It was only when I got home that I remembered my planned blip, hence the cerinthe taking centre stage.

I have done well with the step count today clocking up almost 12,000. I'm sure I won't manage that every day.
