Chives and bees

We had a good drive home and stopped off at a nice pub in Marchington for lunch on the way. The garden has gone mad during our week away and it looks like more staking of cornflowers were needed as some have been flattened by what must have been similar high winds to what we had in Norfolk. The flowers on the pot if chives we have are now mostly opened and looking good and the bees seem to love them. 
This looks to be an Early Bumblebee and I loved that it was the black and yellow type as this is what we get kids to draw when they are little and I've not seen these for some years although they are quite common according to Google :)
