Feelin' a Wee Bit 'o Irish!

Must be the fact that my great grandmother, Hope McKelvey, was Irish, that I love to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! True, that doesn't qualify me as being "very" Irish, but I really do love to decorate and celebrate! (Perhaps the fact that everything is generally looking rather drab come the middle of March, the "green" makes things look a bit more cheery!)

So, yes, of course I realize that St. Patrick's Day isn't until next Sunday! But today, Husband and I met up with our friends, Jeanne and Ben. So, why not bring our friends some St. Patrick's Day cookies? hehehe....Yes, I love eating cookies as much as making them!

These are some of the cookies. I got very creative today, indeed. I nearly shook with excitement last week when I went into TJ Maxx and found a jar of gold
sprinkles to decorate my goodies! And so, I mixed light green, dark green, and the gold sprinkles to decorate the cookies this morning. Now I can tell everyone I've found my pot of gold!
