Cold shoulder

So today I think that the Beast from the East has been flirting with me. In fact I think she may well have taken a few liberties, got a bit saucy if you get my drift. Thankfully I was distracted by work which started early and was brought to a halt by this PC getting in a bit of a two and eight. I decided that when I had to reboot I might as well call it a day.

Parish news: Those in a similar line of work to mine (the education bit) might be interested in knowing that the Open University's free 7-week MOOC starts on the 16th. Still loads of time to sign up and get involved. This isn't limited to people who work in the field though - anyone can join in; it's all online and free. Info starts at Martin Weller's page and links from there to the MOOC landing page and registration page. A MOOC, for those who haven't been hanging with the nerdy kids at school, is a massive open online course. I've not done one before but I know a few folk who are on this one and they are good to be around and the head honcho is fellow blipper Edtechie. Check out the links and take a look.......
