40 years?

These caught my eye while I was out doing errands and stuff earlier. I've messed about with them because I really should be doing something else and this was a displacement activity.

Someone has suggested that it's 40 years since Pink Floyd released Dark Side of the Moon. How on earth can that be right? It's only a couple of years ago surely? The world has gone mad I tell you!

And now it's snowing. I understand we are currently enjoying a weather phenomenon which is being referred to as "the beast from the east". Giving it a name doesn't make it any more fluffy or cuddly - it puts me in mind of this (which - spookily enough - ties back to where I was on Thursday)

The wind it was howlin' and the snow was outrageous
