Dreich. Only word for today. It has never stopped raining, the wind got up from the East and it wasn’t exactly tropical !
Bit the bullet and bolused another lot of 40 cows and their calves and ran them out to one of the hill fields. The estate felled the wood beside it a couple of years ago so the new trees aren’t big enough to provide much shelter yet, but they will just need to get used to it . It will be time for them coming in for the winter before you know it.
An afternoon spent with various other jobs, and before you know it it was 6 o’clock .
Still raining . Roll on summer !
