A pair of pheasants.....

A dry start, but by midday it was raining again
Spent most of the day hauling 3 loads of Hereford X bulling heifers home from the farm I bought them from. It was taking over an hour per trip thanks to various sets of roadworks/ traffic lights and the inevitable hold ups at Sherriff hall roundabout. Decided I'm not cut out for this commuter lark,couldn't do that every day.
Back home and checked their ear tags matched their passports,gave them their BVD vaccine and wiener bolus.
A lot quieter than yesterday's cows,didn't feel my remaining teeth were in any danger today !
These pheasants were waiting for me to feed the cows this morning, obviously wanting some barley too .
