Enough Exercise

Not the way I imagined Saturday’s would be when I retired: up breakfasted and rowing kit on before 7:30, Mylor Yacht Club for 8:00, then to Devoran Quay for 8:30, gig in the water, short rowing session and on my way home via the supermarket and butchers for 10:30.
I then had a long leisurely shower, a second breakfast and was set for the day.

In between all of that I managed to squeeze in laying the Royal British Legion Centenary wreath at Falmouth’s Kimberley Park War Memorial on behalf of the Penryn Branch.

Paddy and I then set off on our first walk of the day, I can safely say that by the time I sat down to watch Quins v Wasps on TV I’d had enough exercise but still had Paddy’s second walk to do.

Today’s photo is a montage of the wreath laying at Falmouth and the gig launch at Devoran.
