Campo grande

The ‘big field’ looking lush under its spring growth. Amazing how it changes each year, grasses coming to dominance, less teasle and thistle and buttercup. Still some brambles coming back.

Meanwhile three intrepid blokes turned up to clean the banks our extremely steep and difficult torrent as part of the flood maintenance of the Arno river basin. Luckily the day was cool but at times they might have needed climbing equipment. I’ve put in an extra as they disappeared into the jungle.
