A wet day

Not a sign of the sun today. Low clouds and mist working against each other in the unstable air.

After last night’s earthquake hijinks and a crampy post vaccine stomach it took a while to, as it were, get going. The going involved cracking walnuts, tightening bolts on the mower, finally sharpening kitchen knifes on my whetstone, a nice Zoom, the last of last night’s delicious fish pie made by J and latter some delicious pan roasted chicken and veg I put together.

It’s rained on and off and still feeling woozy I took myself off to bed early to watch the light fade and listen to the rain patter on the skylight.
