Encore sur la route

Morning was spent with Hugo and I packing our respective cases and realising that we're not going to be seeing each other for over six months...now that will be weird. Oh well, there is Skype and all the other social medias so not too bad! This picture is one of many signs found around Hugo's street. No, they were there before I arrived; and no, no one seems to know what the significance of them is. Does makes things a little creepy I guess, but I liked the contrast of the sign on this particular door.

What else to say about my day? Well the journey was six hours in total from Bordeaux to Caen, followed by another half an hour back to chez moi as the trams had done their usual trick of not working when you really need them to! And during the six hours of trains, there were two changes...and two panics.

1. The first train departed from the station ten minutes late...I had twelve minutes to find and board the next train.
2. Someone became violently ill in Voiture 15, and a voice came over the tannoy asking for a doctor or anyone with medical experience.

Luckily the delay was taken away by the fact that the TGV are ridiculously fast, and can make up the time when they need to. And to brighten my journey there was a puppy on the train! And to brighten it even more, the owner let me stroke it for a while although it was so fluffy, I still prefer cats. Got home absolutely exhausted, and my leg was starting to be more painful than painkillers so I decided the best thing to do would be to stay in and try and rest everything before I don't have the time to starting Monday.
