...youth orchestra night. I. tested negative this morning and was able to attend tonight’s recording of the last (virtual) concert of the year. This isn’t a great photo but I wanted to blip it anyway to document how the kids have managed the past nine months of rehearsals - woodwinds and brass in plastic sheeted cubbies, others masked and spaced around the room, still others participating via Zoom. They’ve met in person once a week and recorded four concerts. Definitely a trying set-up but a meaningful one. For most of the year it was the only in-person meeting she had.

The handful of seniors were recognized and given water bottles stuffed with Hershey kisses.
