Saturday: Diana

People two blips in a row.......oh, my word!

Well, I have had a most lovely day.  It started off with a real life blipmeet. I met Arclight+ for coffee, and good conversation, this morning as she is in Zagreb for a few days.  I do love blipmeets!

Then, in the afternoon, K. and I went to the movies to see Anna Karenina. I will confess I hated the first half hour as it was just too odd, and unconventional.  Once I got used to the style, however, I ended up really enjoying it!  It is out of the ordinary but good.

And then, finally, drinks and dinner in the evening with our catsitter, Diana, who you can see here.  Diana trained as a paleontologist, but now works as a geologist for the local oil company.  She has just started studying for a doctorate in Geology.  Years ago, she used to help a friend out who had a cat sitting business.  The friend no longer cat sits, and Diana doesn't really - it was just that when we came here a year ago her number was given to us from someone who had used her years ago - and now she just looks after Max and Fred as a favour to us.

I've rambled a bit so I shall go to bed now.  G'night!
